Music: various

The new iTunes has a added a wriggle to its random play- if it picks a songs in the party shuffle, then its more likely that other songs in the shuffle will be from the same artist. It makes for more coherent play lists. For example:

Nickel Creek: Why should the fire die? Helen and me had a morning listen to some recently acquired music. Maybe 30 songs. The Nickel Creek stuff stands out as innovative and interesting and really cool. Sheryl Crowe had the misfortune to be selected by our random shuffle after some Nickel Creek. She sounded like fairy floss.

Neil Young. Prairie Wind Nothing this man does is bad. But (and keep this under your hood) this one is almost close to ungood.

Silverchair These good old (young) aussie boys are coming along very nicely. Green day with Oz attitude. Worth listening to some more.

INXS These good old (old) aussie boys are worth a re-listen.

White Stripes Punk never dies.

Sugarland This country music super stars are over-produced, etc etc. But I tried something. I took the lyrc ti Something More and imagined Joe Jackson singing them. Instant punk classic!

Fiona AppleShe is 19 years old? Wow, whata voice.

Fairground Attraction An oldie, but a goodie.

Alison Krauss Joni Mitchell without the karma and more of a country twang.

Bon Jovi Stil the mega-wank they always were but they appeal to my boysie bits. Goin’ down in a blaze of glory.
