Two dinners and no movies

so last night was dinner with david raffo at bob evans in fairmont.

strange to walk into nasa ivv and see raffo there- like a little bit
of portland come to check up that i was ok. very nice. we strolled through delicate snow flakes to dinner where i had to put the smack dab down on david for his very bad WV accent that he affectated while ordering dinner.

then we talked of processing model, of working with the chinese, of children and wives. pity bob evans was dry- we would have had a roaring old time.

tonight was with lisa and todd at oliverio's at m'town. todd decompressed all over me. geek mouse out of his cave, blinking in the light. i loved it. we can talk in a way most folks never will- just braying at each other with a there's-one-more-geeky-thing-i-need-to-tell-you attitude. he said "let's do this more often" and all i can say is SURE!
